What’s New™ was born from the savvy mind of a 30 year + new homes veteran, Shirley Gary. Having been in the real estate industry for 30+ years and specializing in new home sales, she noticed in 2020, when housing inventory plummeted, that homebuyers started to get anxious, feeling pressure on where they would purchase their next home.

Shirley realized that there was an opportunity to help homebuyers see what she could see – that the new homes market was still moving dirt and building neighborhoods, but because these homes weren’t listed yet, nobody knew about them! So the fix was pretty simple… show Buyers what’s coming! 

With that insight, What’s New™ was launched and is now available to be replicated in new markets around the southeast.

Now, What’s New Atlanta is an award-winning website, video and social media platform created to help homebuyers learn about Coming Soon communities being built by some of metro Atlanta’s best homebuilders. We want to bring the neighborhoods to life that are in the early phases of construction. These homes are not for sale yet but should be within 4-6 months. Since many buyers start shopping for a home 6 months to a year in advance, this timing works perfectly!

Each video includes an onsite tour of a brand-new community with insight from the on-site sales team or the builder. New segments are added frequently to the website and What’s New Atlanta YouTube channel. Better yet, you have the option to join our VIP list to receive the earliest information on your choice communities.

Shirley Gary is a Real Estate Broker with over thirty years of experience in the new construction industry.  Over the span of her career, she has represented numerous home builder and developer clients in the sales and marketing efforts that resulted in the successful closing of over 5000 new homes and the start-up of hundreds of new home communities. Managing a brokerage firm in the post-Covid real estate market where supply has become a real challenge, it became clear that advanced knowledge of upcoming new developments would be invaluable to her team of agents. With that insight, What’s New Atlanta was launched.
